Heijmans LinkedIn workshop

Martijn Swint, recruiter at Heijmans, gave 20 members of of CoUrsE! a workshop about how to use LinkedIn as a student/employee and how companies/recruiters look at your LinkedIn. In the first hour, a presentation was given in where the common mistakes where stressed out. Also advice on how to do it right was given. The presentation gave insight in how recruiters do their job in general and how LinkedIn fits in this. The second hour, all attendees could work on their LinkedIn page. It appeared that not everybody already had a LinkedIn page, so for them this was the perfect opportunity to create one. Furthermore the opportunity existed to ask for advice, especially the “summary” is hard, but important to make. After the workshop we had pizza and continued in the SkyBar! Underground.
